Fred and Bex

Occasionally I’m left feeling a bit disappointed when it comes to drinks on offer when I’m out and about, but on second thoughts, I’m probably just as guilty if I’m hosting a party. I do tend to put much more effort into the food than maybe I do the drinks.

So this year I’m going to have some easy drinks recipes which will liven up and smarten up any get together that will be at ours. While reading the Daily Telegraph Cook’s Book by Bon Viveur (pen-name of Johnnie and Fannie Craddock published 1965), I came across a Christmas Raspberries recipe. So you could enjoy this fruit on Christmas morning, the recipe suggests, fork equal quantities of caster sugar and raspberries, when in season, fill sterilised preserving jars with the mix and keep for several months in a cool dry place.

No need! I can assure you that Fred and Bex Fruit Vinegars will bring the same fruity flavour to Christmas.

For example just pour a small amount of Fred and Bex into glass of choice and top up with mineral water, lemonade and ice or even Prosecco. Colourful and delicious. Or how about a Blackberry Vodka Lemonade, to toast the shiny Great Taste Award we recently received for our Fred and Bex Blackberry Vinegar, that will certainly get the party going.

That’s just a taster, for more recipes take a look at or if you’d like a little purchase we do have an online shop. Enjoy.
